Hello everyone, I just wanted to announce that I'm going to be officially leaving newgrounds. Dont expect me to be online at all after this point. I will be here for a day or two answering questions you can ask below. Here's some things I want to clear up
Are you ok/safe?
Yes I'm safe and ok. I'm not leaving because of a situation impacting my life or something like that.
Why are you leaving?
I'm leaving because of burnout I've had with stuff on here and I've lost passion to be contributing on here. Worrying about this all the time has effected personal time and relationships. So I'm cutting this out to work towards better relationships with the people I really care about.
Will you still use discord?
Yes but not in the way you'd like. I made a new private account that I use instead of the taka account. I login every now and again to see if anyone messaged but don't expect much. I wont be giving out my new discord account.
Why a new account on discord?
Same reason for newgrounds kinda, remembering the drama and bad relationships I've had on there. It's cluttered and harder to reach out to people. So I made a new one. Start fresh
What will happen to your characters?
Any original character I've made I will not be taking with me in the future. If you want to use any of my characters or borrow elements from any of them. Go for it! I don't expect anyone to do that but now it's out there! Go wild!
Do you still love newgrounds?
Of course I do! I've learned so much from this site and met the most amazing people. Some bad people too but we don't talk about that lol. Newgrounds is important to me and I'll never not defend it.
Will you delete this account?
No, I will keep it up to archive everything.
Will you still attend irl events for newgrounds?
I'm really not sure, don't bet on it but it's possible. I do want to attend toomanygames again if y'all are able to again!
Will you come back?
Probably in the future, far far future. Years and years. Don't count on the days lol
Thank you all, this site has helped me through so many things and mad me met so many people that I still talk to, to this day. I even met my girlfriend on here! So I hope you all have great lives and keep making cool shit and maybe one day, we'll see each other again.
